Through our yearly Chronicle 'Members' and their friends were invited to attend a service to commemorate 40 years of The Filby Association, at All Saints Church in Filby village, followed by tea and biscuits kindly prepared by the ladies of Filby Church. This was fairly well attended as you can see from the picture below.

At this reunion we held our first Annual General Meeting at 11o'clock in the church hall, which was well attended, including a member and his family from Australia. The meeting was a success so an A.G.M. will be held every year in future, to allow our members a voice in the running of the Association.
