The Filby Sunday Service and Get-Together 2009
Our next Sunday service will
be on the 5th July 2009 starting at 2.30pm, preceded by our A.G.M. in
the Church Hall at 11am.

Through our yearly Chronicle 'Members' are invited to attend an
annual service at All Saints Church in Filby village, followed by
tea and biscuits kindly prepared by the ladies of Filby Church.
Afterwards
there is an opportunity to discuss matters concerning the
Association, and view results of our research into the history of
the name Filby. We hold family trees and data both on computer and
on file for those of you who may wish to search for missing
ancestors.

How
to get there
|
From
Norwich take the A47 towards Great Yarmouth, then at Acle take
the A1064 (left). Filby village is about 6 miles from Acle. The
church where we meet is at the end of Church Lane, which is on the
right as you are travelling from Acle. Also just after the bridge on
the left after entering Filby village is a Restaurant where some of us call in for refreshments
or lunch.
